General Information

BOOKINGS
If you would like to book a week or more, please either write, telephone, or email Mrs Wass, (contact details are on the 'Prices and Availability and 'Contact' pages). Please state your preferred dates and choice of cottage.
You can book online but please note that if you wish to book for more than one week the full price must be paid; a discount for more than one week booked can only be arranged by contacting Mrs Wass directly. 

For 2015/6 there is a £100 deposit, £200 for the farmhouse, with the balance payable 4 weeks before the start date of the holiday. Please note that the price does not include Cancellation Insurance and if you wish you should arrange your own; please see our Terms and Conditions.

SHORT BREAKS IN THE COTTAGES
Are sometimes able to be arranged in January, February, November and December, but not during half-term holidays. Start day is Saturday for the smaller cottages.

Minimum 3 day short breaks can be arranged all year round in the farmhouse; please ring or email to check availability.


PAYMENT - Cheques can be made payable to Mrs SR Wass (for the cottages) or DB, SR & JP Wass for the farmhouse and sent to:- Mrs SR Wass, Sinnington Lodge, Sinnington, York,YO62 6RB. BACS payment can also be taken - please contact owner for details.

PETS
We welcome pets to Surprise View Cottages, but because this is a working farm with sheep and cattle, we ask that they are kept strictly under control; there is an additional fee if pets are brought, please ask at time of booking.

LAUNDRY SERVICE
For the smaller cottages a laundry service is provided on request, extra charge. Please ask on booking or on arrival.
Lowna Farmhouse has full laundry facilities.


NO SMOKING
guests are asked not to smoke in any of the cottages; there are  small outdoor shelters.
